From July 9 to 12, 2018, the 5th China-Russia Expo (the “Expo”) jointly organized by organizations such as China’s Ministry of Commerce, the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province, and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation was held at Yekaterinburg International Exhibition Center. Upon invitation from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), CIMC Vehicles (Group), together with another three Chinese companies including Dongfeng Motor Corporation (DFL) and Heilongjiang Dragon Transportation Group , presented in the “China Pavilion” the world-leading commercial vehicles and special vehicles made in China.
During the Expo, representatives of CIMC Vehicles and DFL visited two leading road transportation companies in Russia, namely LORRY and TRASKO, and talked with them about deepening the practical cooperation in certain areas and further strengthening and promoting the partnership between companies of both countries to a new high.
As the largest comprehensive exhibition at the highest level between China and Russia, the Expo is a platform for displaying the achievements realized in the cooperation between two countries as well as an important platform for both countries to cooperate in key areas such as economy and trade, science and technology, humanity, and people-to-people bond. With the theme "New beginning, new opportunities and new future," the Expo this year focused on the economic and trade cooperation and the people-to-people talk between two countries. The Expo welcomed nearly 200 companies from 15 provinces and cities of China and 17 companies from 9 states and regions of Russia, and was attended by a total of 1,069 representatives of the government and enterprises from China.
