CIMC Vehicles Ushers in Accelerated Regional Economic Growth

With CIMC Vehicles (Group) seizing the “highlight” of a new era and planning for environmentally friendly growth, its subsidiary Luoyang CIMC Lingyu Automobile Co., Ltd. (CIMC Lingyu) is accelerating the integration of resources to explore the possibilities in the new-energy vehicles sector and try to be a pioneer in the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries in Luoyang City.
As a traditional industry hub, Luoyang boasts excellent resources and great potential for transformation. On the afternoon of November 17, 2017, Hou Zhanguo, Deputy Mayor of Luoyang City and Director of Luoyang Administrative Committee under the umbrella of China (Henan) Pilot Free Trade Zone, visited the plant of CIMC Lingyu to learn about its business status and the development of the new-energy vehicles sector.
Liu Baoshan, General Manager of CIMC Lingyu, accompanied the delegation led by Hou Zhanguo and showed them the automated production line for aluminum alloy liquid tank trucks and the coating plant that uses the latest technologies. During the visit, Hou Zhanguo learnt about the business status of the company from Liu Baoshan and had a thorough talk with the latter on the teaming-up between CIMC Lingyu and Yinlong New Energy for jointly promoting the development of the new-energy vehicles sector.
Hou spoke highly of CIMC Lingyu for the “bellwether” role it has played in serving the local economic growth.
He said that, during this visit, he saw the production of the plant was in full swing, and that the municipal CPC committee and the municipal government were greatly grateful to CIMC Lingyu for its outstanding contribution to the local economic growth and they would do their utmost to offer the company more favorable policies.
CIMC Lingyu is a company with more than 40 years of experience in manufacturing automobiles and Yinlong New Energy Co., Ltd. is a large-size high-tech company in China’s new energy industry. Both are key enterprises of Luoyang and important supporting forces of the economic growth in Henan Province.
Hou noted that the win-win cooperation between the two companies has created rare and valuable opportunities and that he hoped both parties would speed up the transformation of the cooperation, complete the industry chain, give play to the role of major enterprises for gathering and leading others, and drive forward the common growth of small, medium and large companies, thus boosting the development of the new-energy vehicles sector in Luoyang.
