CIMC Huajun Vehicle Awarded May 1st Workers’ Medal of Henan Province
It is reported by Henan Daily on April 27, 2018 that the celebration of May 1st the International Workers' Day and the ceremony to award the May 1st Workers’ Medals and Pioneer Workers were held by Henan provincial government on April 26. During the ceremony, 91 companies including Zhumadian CIMC HuaJun Vehicle (“ Huajun Vehicle”), a key manufacturing plant under CIMC Vehicles (Group), were awarded the medals.
It is reported that Huajun Vehicle achieved RMB 253 million in profits and taxes in 2017, with an year-on-year increase of 70.1%, making a great contribution to the reform and development of the province.
Guo Xizhou, General Manager of Huajun Vehicle, said that “we focus on driving forward transformation and upgrading and building ‘a lighttower factory in Zhumadian’ and have attracted great attention and support from CPC committees and governments of various levels. Next, we will coordinate all our resources to address the final challenge for the plant to start production. Our goal is to complete the installation and debugging of all equipment before the end of May and to put the entire production line into use in June.” He pointed out that “We have to address this challenge. We would not try our luck but instead, we have strong determination in our actions since we have motivated all our resources to reach the goal. Meanwhile, we have the support of various resources from the Group. Therefore, we must make great efforts in accomplishing the new mission of transformation and upgrading of the Group.”
Zhao Suping, a member of Henan provincial CPC Standing Committee and Director of the Provincial Publicity Department, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. Wang Baocun, Deputy Director-General of the Provincial Standing Committee of the People's Congress and Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, hosted the ceremony. Also present were Liu Wei, Deputy Governor of the Provincial Government, Li Yingjie, Vice Chairman of Provincial CPPCC, and Liu Fafeng, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Region. Kou Wujiang, Secretary and Vice-chairman of the Party Leadership Group of the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, announced the award list. Zhao Yanhui, Chairwoman of the Labor Union of Huajun Vehicle, attended the ceremony on behalf of the company and received the award.
